• shirts actually designed for girls with larger chests • plus size clothing ACTUALLY intended to accommodate plus size people not just scaled up littler clothing • clothes for tall people that won’t ride up • pants for people with no butts • cute bras in bigger sizes •the fashion industry’s understanding that there’s lots of body types and every body type deserves to feel good in the clothes they wear
“I’m not a Muslim but ISIS’ willful destruction of priceless Muslim historical artifacts kinda proves they’re not Muslim either.”—@RawBlackness (via anubis-the-incubus)
do you want to know something?? I always wondered what the hell kind of hairstyle the Ancient Egyptians were trying to portray with depictions like these
and this
until I did my hair this morning and
oh
welp
you can take the noses off our statues but until you find a way to take Egypt out of Africa we’re still going to find ourselves
people talkin like “I thought this was supposed to be the future where are my flying cars”
yall do know that surgeons recently 3D printed a new skull for a woman and that we have machines who learn and recognize themselves in mirrors and recently we found a galaxy that SHOULDN’T EXIST
honestly i cant control how much i dislike people who are racist or homophobic or transphobic. i used to be polite in my arguments so that whoever i was arguing against would take me seriously but that never got me very far. fuck you for bringing harm to innocent people and then hiding behind “it’s just MY opinion!!” yeah it’s JUST your opinion? well your opinions have death tolls and body counts, shut the fuck up.
those moments in au fics when you finally figure out how the author is reinterpreting a specific canon event and you basically go ‘oh snap that’s brilliant’ for five minutes straight
And you wanna know why? Because having a young person in school = expenses. They are in school from 8am-4pm, can’t bring in an income to the family. So Sweden decided you know what? Lets give them a bit of $$ to help out the student and family with expenses of supporting a student.
College education is also free in Sweden because you know what? Education is seen as a social investment.
“I worry that saying ‘Be like Jesus! He’s cool cuz He hung out with sinners!’ actually ostracizes ‘sinners’. He never labeled them as such. It was disapproving religious folk who said Jesus was a friend of sinners. They were insulting Jesus by lumping him with ‘dirty people’. If we feel good about ourselves because we hang out with ‘sinners’, we’re elevating ourselves in a Pharisaical hierarchy. Jesus didn’t tell us to love sinners. He told us to love our neighbors [and our enemies]. So no, don’t ‘be like Jesus who hung out with prostitutes and drunkards’. Be like Jesus who saw people as names and faces and stories, not sins. When religious people point at you and say ‘Don’t you know this woman has a past?’, Jesus smiles and says ‘I know she has a future.”—Micah J. Murray (via hagiazo223)
a couple days ago i saw someone raise the question of why Pacific Rim only seems to be resonating with millennials, and i didn’t know the answer, but i’ve been thinking about it a lot and suddenly i understand
it’s because it’s a movie about young people who are smart and…

Leonard did exactly what he always signed his tweets with.
He lived long and, dammit, he sure did prosper. He has been a major influence in so many people’s lives. The hearts he’d touched with his poetry and his actions. He will be remembered as one of the kindest, most good-hearted men to ever live.
On to the final frontier, Leonard. We will surely miss you.
being a boy in a dress doesn’t make you gender fluid
its makes you a boy IN A DRESS
Being a transphobic fuck makes you a transphobic fuck.
I don’t think they’re being transphobic, I think they ment that you can wear whatever you want without being generfluid. Like a girl who wears boy clothes, and says she is a girl, means she’s a girl. If a boy wears girl clothes, and says he is a boy, he’s a boy.
