I wish that there was a socially acceptable way to say, “I’m having a bad mental health day and need you to pay attention to me,” without alienating everyone.
or: “I’m having a bad mental health day and need to be on my own for a while so please don’t be mad if I cancel our plans on short notice.”
Saying that “no-one will love you before you love yourself” is bullshit and paints depressed/ mentally ill people as unlovable for having self esteem issues.
It is totally possible to love someone who doesn’t love themselves and actually it can really help them. What ISN’T helpful is treating them like crap because of maladaptive thinking processes that they can’t even help.

this is such a good idea though like think of how unbiased the judgement of the jury would be? i honestly dont understand why no ones ever thought of this before i mean why do the jury even need to see the criminal anyway, they’re judging the person on their actions not their appearance.
