To the fans who are the ones treating him this way, take fucking note.
Bob Morley is a damn good actor, and even better person, and he has expressed his discomfort with this sort of thing more than once. Those of you who are reducing him to nothing more than sexually attractive, and sending him inappropriate tweets and messages need to stop it. That’s 100% not okay. He’s a person and he deserves to be treated like one!

The thing that pisses me off most about this is I can guaran-fucking-tee you that the people sending him inappropriate messages on twitter are some of the same people who spend their time on tumblr nodding their heads in agreement at cat-calling post and reblogging feminist photosets. Here’s the thing kids, if your feminism doesn’t include men then it’s not real feminism. Harassment does not equal equality and there’s a difference in being uneducated and being a hypocrite. If you wouldn’t say it in person then don’t tweet it to him online. And if you would say some of the disgusting things he’s been tweeted then maybe you should take a step away from social media all together and reevaluate your life.

The source video is very, very worth watching. A few things to point out:
The young woman in the dark coat is continually trying to escape from the man. She has spoken to him, she’s pulled away, she’s even tried to walk away before he dragged her back. She hit him as a last resort but it didn’t do anything, he just got more aggressive.
The girl in the white jacket was walking by, recognized that a bad situation was happening, stopped, and intervened. At 0:28 she calls the man out, and continues to call him out until he breaks off attacking the young woman in the dark coat and turns his aggression on her. At which point she defends herself—and then she escorts the young woman in the dark coat safely away.
This is a hero.

The woman in the white jacket is Olga Ivanova, taekwondo world champion. That kick must have hurt like hell.

It’s even worse when you realise that since those videos paint Africa as a wasteland riddled with disease, it affects the tourism and trade here. They could help the economy of every country in Africa in the long run by not perpetuating that image and getting to work on the people starving people in their own backyard.
