#BlackLivesMatter Condemns NYPD Cop Killings: ‘Not Our Vision Of Justice’
#BlackLivesMatter, a social movement founded in opposition to the violence and oppression black people in the U.S. face at the hands of law enforcement, officially condemned the “senseless” killing of two NYPD officers Saturday.
“An eye for an eye is not our vision of justice,” the group said in a statement obtained by The Huffington Post. “We who have taken to the streets seeking justice and liberation know that we need deep transformation to correct the larger institutional problems of racial profiling, abuse, and violence.” Read on for more details here.

“If you wore a name tag with your pronouns on it you’ll be made fun of so hard” lol OK so why have I gotten nothing but compliments and appreciation for my pronouns button at work, almost all from middle aged women, and have had people ask where it was when they came in again and I wasn’t wearing it?
I got another compliment on it yesterday and the woman said it was really progressive that my store let me wear it!

1) When their label told them to shorten the titles of their songs, they did… by taking out all of the vowels and shortening a song title to “Thnks fr th Mmrs.”
2) They have a song titled “Our Lawyer Made Us Change the Name of This Song so We Wouldn’t Get Sued.”

Fun fact: Tibetan Mastiffs were often “paired” with Tibetan Spaniels. The Tibetan Spaniel is a natural-born tattle tale and would run along monastery walls to keep an eye out for intruders. Upon spotting someone suspicious they would go get the big dog.
