Just look:
"Ah, of course. There is no need to tell me any more, Ms. Granger. Which one of you will be dying this year?"
I mean really:
"I should have made my meaning plainer," said Professor McGonagall, turning at last to look at Umbridge directly in the eyes. "He has achieved high marks in all Defense Against the Dark Arts tests set by a competent teacher."
So much sass:
"Are you quite sure you wouldn't like a cough drop, Dolores?"
She's just full of it:
"I doubt it will make much of a difference," said Professor McGonagall coldly, "unless a mad axe-man is waiting outside the doors to slaughter the first into the entrance hall."
Her zingers are the best:
"Well, usually when a person shakes their head," said McGonagall coldly, "they mean 'no.' So unless Miss Edgecombe is using a form of sign language as yet unknown to humans --"
Seriously though:
"You look in excellent health to me, Potter, so you will excuse me if I don't let you off homework today. I assure you that if you do die, you need not hand it in."
And finally, my all-time favorite:
"It unscrews the other way."
Issac Newton was a poor farmboy who got sent to school by chance, because his father saved a nobleman’s life and the nobleman wanted to repay the favor by funding his son’s education.
Reblogging again because I DID NOT KNOW THAT. POINT FUCKING MADE.
If you’ve ever had the absolute pleasure of meeting a cat with CH, you’ll know how quirky and charming they typically are!
Teddy, the CEO of The Tiny Tabby, has CH. He is the happiest, sweetest and most loving cat I have ever encountered. He is very lucky that someone with knowledge of his condition rescued him. Knowledge really can save lives!
Cats with Cerebellar Hypoplasia are special needs cats, and you should learn all about them before adopting. If you adopt ANY animal, you never know what challenges you will face taking care of them. With mild to moderate CH cats, small changes to your home will accommodate a CH cat. CH cats typically do not require tons of extra work, you just need to make sure they can get around your home. Personally, I carpeted my staircase and got a a litter box that was easy to get into. CH cats should never ever ever ever be de-clawed. Cats rely on their claws to catch themselves from falling, and are actually a part of their paws (they are not like human fingernails). While all cats should have this natural part of their body, CH cats need them more than the average cat.
I’ve seen a few people reblog this and say that they have a wobbly cat and they think they might have CH.
I just want to make sure that you guys remember that if your cat suddenly develops symptoms like weak back legs, falling over, dizziness, head shaking, or funny walk, that is not CH. Cats are born with CH, and cannot develop it later. Sudden symptoms could be a sign that something is really wrong.
It’s a good rule of thumb that any sudden change is an indication that something is wrong and requires your attention.
It’s always a good idea to go to your vet with any concerns. There are certainly many other things that could cause neurological symptoms to occur, so make sure that you see a vet!
if you’re ever worried about what you wanna do after college just remember that my best friend graduated and said “i wanna be a mermaid” and now she performs as a mermaid in aquarium shows
