I’m not a woman but I do menstruate, and because of my pcos (polycystic ovarian syndrome), I get such bad cramps each cycle that I faint and shake and my vision blacks out.
I have stayed at work through this more times than I can count, only leaving (and thus forfeiting wages) when completely unable to stand up and do tasks due to the severity of the pain.
Giving me and people like me paid leave would be such sweet justice.

most studies show that prices would only have to go up by 1 to 3 cents in order to raise employee wages significantly
