My thought process is fairly linear. To me. However when I describe it to others they have no idea of how I could associate those two things.

One of the things N allegedly loves me for is how, when telling one story, it’s almost certain that I’ll end up telling three. One thing reminds me of another, so I mention that, and that in turn reminds me of another different thing … people get confused. Or love it. There’s no in-between, apparently.

This helps me better understand some of my friends. ;-;

Holy shit, it’s not just me.  I get like this with E V E R Y T H I N G and I’m really not condescending to you when I repeat myself three times in response to a request for clarification, I literally cannot translate my thoughts into something you’ll understand.  Which is fine when I’m doing, say, math, and I say “So one…this is seven and then that’s four so…and carry the two and…so it’s a hundred and forty seven” but it’s a real fucking issue when I’m trying to make a point.

When HYDRA was in pursuit of her in the CATWS movie, I wondered why Nat kept running straight, when a zig zag pattern would have made her harder to hit. It just now occured to me, if she HAD ran in a zig zag pattern while surrounded by innocent pedestrians in DC, the Winter Soldier’s bullets could have hit any number of people. She had increased the chances of her getting shot just to make sure more people got away.

I think this is one of the reasons she bonds so well with Steve.
