Christmas AU Spectacular  ☆☆☆  AoS AU inspired by but not following the direct canon of Teen Wolf

When Skye is bitten by an alpha werewolf in a seemingly random attack, it starts off a chain of events that she could’ve never predicted.

First, it turns out her adoptive parental figures are actually a retired hunter and an alpha werewolf in hiding.  And while May doesn’t actually want Skye to be a werewolf, she also understands that there’s training to be done.

Then, Skye’s friend Trip tells her he’s a medium.  Like, he’s been talking to dead people this whole time.  And if that wasn’t weird enough, there’s another supernatural beast on the loose, the Kanima, and it’s got FitzSimmons in its sights.

Did she mention that Fitz is a were-coyote?  They just found him like, a week ago.  And he’s been living with Simmons ever since.

Phil’s old frenemy John Garrett has shown up, with his best and only hunter in tow.  Turns out John still follows the old code and is planning to clear the town of supernatural activity.  By any means necessary. Grant seems like a loyal follower, at first, but a chance meeting with Skye turns his entire outlook upside-down.

Oh, and then Skye finds out the Alpha that bit her is her missing father. So yeah.  Things are really, really weird around here.

I know it sounds trite, but this reads like so many tweets I’ve seen between creators online who admire another great creator’s work but see people giving them shit for it. It’s cool that this kind of respect fistbumping has been going on for longer than our current go-to mode of communication, you know?

Okay is it just me, or is the PS more like ‘also I came up with a really great science joke but I’m not sure how accurate it is?’ What with a ‘comical witticism’ and all!
