21+ full-figured actresses playing 14/15/16 yr old characters rly fucked up my self-esteem and self-image when i was young and made me v insecure

quit casting adults as young characters esp in shows w/ young target audiences?? man it makes undeveloped lil girls feel inadequate that they don’t look like grown women when they’re baby teens

when i was little and my parents were driving id pretend there was a man/being/thing running alongside the car who had to follow certain rules like “he can only travel by jumping from streetlight to streetlight” or “he can only walk on fences”

i was so surprised to find out that other people did similar things

i wonder what the underlying psychology behind it is

like its a really specific thing to do but almost everyone did it without telling other kids about it because we all thought it was probably weird or unimportant

i really hope that a psychologist sees this and will post the physiological reason why 99.9% of kids do this

I still do this and I’m almost 18.

Sometimes when driving and we go over shadows or painted lines on the road I pretend the car jumps over each and every one of them.

i used to pretend it was peter pan . .  i had no idea anyone else did this

a quick reminder:

not everyone knows what is and isn’t offensive

not everyone has the knowledge you do on slurs and their impact

so how about instead of bullying people who are wrong and writing them off as terrible people, you try educating them?

And if you say “it’s not my job to educate them” but you consider yourself an activist, you are not a very good activist.

a pregnant woman goes into a coma

months later she wakes up, no longer pregnant

“you had twins! ” the nurse exclaims. “your brother named them”

“what did he name the girl?” the woman asks

“denise”

“that’s alright, I like denise. and the boy?”

“denephew”

Reading fanfiction is the worst because you start out with “I’ll just read this cute one shot” then suddenly it’s four am and you have 12 tabs open and you’re crying again because THEY DESERVE TO BE HAPPY WHY CANT THEY JUST BE HAPPY

You hear all these “you’re not a real fan unless” and it lists a hundred things, but I met a dude today who saw my Deadpool pin and asked what my favorite story arc was, and I explained that while I loved Deadpool, I was new to Marvel (I only really got into it a year and a half ago) and hadn’t been able to find a lot of the comics. Instead of making a face or a derogatory comment, he just offered to send me all the stuff he had. That is a true fan.

plot twist: senpai gets noticed

This whole show is senpai trying to get noticed.

The entire show is a plot twist. Instead of the unpopular girl trying to get noticed by the popular boys, it’s the popular boys trying to get noticed by the unpopular girl.

can i just take a moment to say how much i love ouran host club

non-gender-conforming girl with a genderqueer dadmom makes friends with popular boys by not being fooled by their bullshit

And the unpopular girl is popular with the popular girls as one of the popular boys. Plus Tamaki’s cute as hell.
