The photo comes from protests happening in Bulgaria right now. Students are protesting poverty and corruption in Bulgaria’s Socialist-backed government, chaining themselves to the doors of Sofia University and clashing with police outside of parliament.

Alright children, sit down because I’m about to explain why this is the greatest thing ever:
After I take this picture in Walmart, I see a little black boy run up. He’s yelling “mommy, mommy! This is the black super hero I was telling you about!! I want to be the Falcon for Halloween!!”
His mother bought the costume and I smiled, commenting that I loved the Falcon too.
That’s why representation is SO IMPORTANT. This made a little boy’s day to be able to be a super hero who looked like him.
If you still don’t think that’s the most important thing ever, you are strongly mistaken.
Marvel has been using black children in their ads for Captain America stuff in their comics now that Sam Wilson is taking over as Cap too
