Everyone thinks Steve Rogers can’t lie, and they’re not wrong most of the time, but he was so sick all the time growing up and he worried Bucky and his Ma so much that he learned to lie about one thing convincingly. He learned to lie about his health, how bad he felt, how much pain he was in, still does it now.
