wait, im sorry, really - whats the correct way to say this? autistic children? is the “people first” method problematic?
A lot of autistic people don’t like person first language actually. (Although some people don’t mind it and that’s a decision for how the individual identifies) I would link to some people that I follow here on tumblr who talk about this a lot better then I do but I’m on mobile right now.
