If women catcalled men (X)
Men, imagine if you got these comments EVERY TIME YOU LEFT THE HOUSE. Can you imagine how annoying it would be? How degrading? Dehumanizing? Cut this out, and tell your friends/family/random men on the street to stop too.

NOT IF IT WAS INGRAINED IN THE CULTURE THAT BEING CATCALLED IS SYNONYMOUS TO OBJECTIFICATION
Men don’t seem to get it. Being cat called is expected to be seen as a compliment. It’s not. It’s demeaning. It’s objectifying. That guy doesn’t care about me as a person. The fact that I have thoughts or feelings doesn’t matter to any guy that catcalls me. I’m seen as an object for his gaze. That’s the problem with catcalling.
