I’m an 18 year old transgender male living outside of Philly, PA. I’m a college student as well as a part time worker. My surgery will be done by Dr. Kathy Rumer and the total cost for surgery will be around $6000. This surgery will completely masculinize my chest so that I will no longer have to wear chest binders in order to make my chest appear flat.

Although I work, and my health insurance covers a portion of the surgery fee, I will still need help to pay for the other portion. Most of my paychecks go towards college funds, therefore I cannot raise all the money on my own.

This surgery will improve my life immensely because I will no longer feel insecure about my body. It will help me to live my life to it’s fullest potential.
