Casey Anderson is one of my heroes. The story with Casey and Brutus doesn’t end there though. As someone who works often with captive wildlife and who also studies animals like Brutus out in the wilderness, Casey knew that Brutus couldn’t live at his house forever. So, Casey founded the Montana Grizzly Encounter Rescue and Educational Sanctuary, a place where bears who are unable to go back to the wild can live and a place where the public can be educated about bears. He’s also trained Brutus well enough that he can take part in PSA commercials informing the public on how to stay safe in bear country.
