#no but see here here’s the thing#you can’t go into espionage looking for glory because if you do you’ll wind up a dead failure#a famous spy is not a good spy#so souza asks her why doesn’t she want accolades and recognition#and despite her struggles for respect#it’s being able to do her job competently that matters to her#not the glory of it#the rest of them were soldiers first turned covert operatives and they know rank and medals#but she had to sneak her way in from the beginning and be sly and always in the shadow of something more noticeable#and the fact that she recognizes the value of that while holding what respect does matter is what makes her stand out#she puts her skill above her ego#and that’s why she lived to be 90
