#tbh peggy carter is not a good person and that’s fascinating to me #like she’s not BAD; she’s very obviously a Good Guy that’s not what i mean #what i mean is that she’s maybe the most ruthless character in the entire marvelverse #she never hesitates to hurt; to use violence or threaten the use of violence #to break rules when it suits her (agent carter) and to uphold authority when she’s in authority (punching the soldier) #she respects cleverness and competence and outside-the-box thinking and people who are unusual #and of course she’s blisteringly clever and competent herself #like screw loki or green goblin; peggy carter is the character i wouldn’t want to meet in a dark alley #of course she’s the person who founded shield #all of the parts of shield that are not hydra are peggy carter through and through
