Just a quick guide for all you guys and girls having trouble finding the right insurance. It’s incredibly difficult to find insurance that covers sex reassignment surgery, and even when then do, there’s a chance you’ll be denied.

Also just a quick little tidbit for those of you looking to purchase these insurances through the marketplace as opposed to through an employer!! At least with BCBS, there is an option for you to apply for a subsidy, which means the government provides you with financial assistance, based upon your income and how many people you have in your household, to help towards your monthly payments for the insurance, and you don’t pay them back! I suggest reading up on that!!
