We have to protect our young black girls because this world is constantly attacking them for being educated, forward-thinking and shining bright like they should be!
Black women have to work twice as hard to get half as much. Our young black girls are growing up being sexualised from the ages of 9. They are told their thoughts are invalid. Their looks are not good enough and their intelligence minimised because others are scared of them.
It is our job to uplift,educate and encourage them to be great. Know they are worthy and deserve the best.
I am all for equality, but sadly that isn’t the case for everyone. Its all good and well saying you love black people, but actions speak louder. We aren’t looking for validation. We just want to be treated as human, that’s all.
And Mon'e Williams was called a slut too. Travyon Martin was called a a grown man and so was Tamir Rice was called a man at 12! Black children can never be just children
