#bodhi tries to be suave; he can pull it off no longer than 5 consecutive minutes before accidentally walking into something#luke is very impressionable#he keeps getting distracted during lightsaber training thinking about that time bodhi smiled at him from across the briefing room#chirrut smacks him over the head good-naturedly & asks if he’s thinking about a nice jedhan boy#bodhi ends up going to baze for love advice which is very thorough and sensible#it takes like 6 months before they go on an official date and it gets promptly interrupted by an imperial attack#really the whole trilogy from that point on is the saga of how bodhi rook and luke skywalker keep trying to go on a proper date#and the empire keeps interrupting#rogue one (via @vrabia)
