It’s bloody and has numerous wounds. It is believed that It got into a fight with something bigger

i do not like the words “something bigger” in this context

pkmn-trainer-touko-tajiri

it’s a whale. I don’t even need to read any articles or any article headlines to tell you this. I can tell from just looking at the pictures.

If there’s a ‘mysterious rotting deep sea creature’ on beach somewhere, it’s always, always without fucking fail, a dead whale. Sometimes a squid for variety.

No, the whale didn’t get into a fight with something bigger. It died, its carcass got scavenged, it washed up on the beach because whale blubber takes for fucking ever to decompose and because it’s rotted out so much, it doesn’t actually look like a whale anymore so everyone freaks the fuck out.

This isn’t the first time it’s happened, it won’t be the last either. Google Globsters for a fun learning experience about dead sea creatures washing up on beaches.

I mean, you’re probably right; I actually did click through to one of the articles to see whether it wasn’t just a total fabrication and it was like “locals thought it was a squid, experts are thinking probably whale but they haven’t examined it yet so they can’t be sure.”

Anything is a UFO if you’re bad enough at identifying things, right?
