#this is my favourite bit of behind the scenes characterisation of Remus ever#because the Remus that the trio knows is quiet and polite and would never bad-mouth a peer#even Snape who has proven himself to be deserving of bad-mouthing#Remus still goes out of his way to speak about him as polite and objectively as possible#but here#this#can you imagine?#Remus and Sirius sitting around Grimmauld Place drinking Fire Whiskey and talking smack#Remus swearing and coming up with really creative insults about what a horrible person Umbridge is#Remus not being this perfect shining example of how civilized a werewolf can be#but being rude and disgruntled around Sirius#because it’s Sirius#and he can do this around Sirius#because there’s nobody left who knows him like this#I know nobody ever reads these things#but this is the type of behind the scenes glimpse into a secondary character that I live off (via theabsentear)
