So at what age should I expect to stop feeling like a kid with delusions of grandeur every time I call myself a woman?
Tags: no really i'm asking sexism WHY is it tagged sexism you ask? because when boys are like 5 people call them 'little man' and 'the man of the house' and stuff like that i saw my mother--a fifty-one year old woman with a husband and daughter--called a 'girl' the other day at what point are 'girls' allowed to grow up and get agency like i'm twenty i haven't felt like a child in quite some time and i've been mistaken for a late-twenties adult for years now so when should i expect to stop feeling like someone's going to call me out for faking it every time i call myself a woman i'm curious and a little annoyed tbh there's a great standup poem about like ten things to tell young girls i can't find it but one of them is this this feeling of faking it when you label yourself as a grown woman i dislike it the ongoing quandry of how moran fits so much rage in such a small physical vessel
