#I rewatched this episode just the other day #and it struck me how important it is that Parker lets her team see how emotional she is in this scene #the cold read was more like a sucker-punch of emotion and she didn’t have time to cover or keep it from anybody #but when she runs out she goes back to the loft and her team #she sits on the floor in the middle of the living room #–out of the sightline of anybody outside looking in through the windows but still easily visible from the front door #and don’t think it isn’t significant that Parker of all people sat on the floor #no effortless scaling of walls or draping herself over rafters or danging from cords attached to the ceiling #no when she’s upset she stays low and still and waits for the emotion and vulnerability to blow over– #and she waits for her team to come home and comfort her #and they do–she asks for violence and Eliot says he could #she opts for ruination instead because she trusts Nate to know what will hurt the conman the most #but her team would have given her whatever she needed and she knows it and I am stupidly emotional about that (tags via ereborne)
